Welcome to Nic's Retreat
I'm Nick Drayton and I welcome you to Nic's Retreat. My partner Viv and I have three gorgeous listings available for you, where you can get some time away from the hustle and bustle and relax with nature. Only 2.5 hours west of Sydney in the Capertee Valley, NSW, it is a perfect little getaway waiting for you to visit.

Nic's Cabin
Nic's Cabin has one queen bed and one single bed upstairs, with two single beds downstairs.
The Cabin is only accessible by 4WD; If you have a 2WD we provide transport between 'HQ' and the Cabin, at no charge. If needed, internet, wifi and a Telstra phone line are available at HQ. The property borders the Gardens of Stone National Park, and the views are spectacular. A drive through the valley is well worthwhile as the landscapes are beautiful and absolutely unique.
The Cabin is situated in a serene, tranquil and healing setting, ensuring a real break from the stresses of everyday life.
$200 per night for 2 people.
Minimum stay 2 nights. A $50 cleaning fee applies.

Nic's Studio
Nic's Studio is located behind what we call 'HQ', and is private and self-contained, with a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, BBQ on the deck, stereo, DVD player, CD's and DVD's.
You have all the comforts of home; hot and cold water and mains power electricity (solar boosted). Unlimited free WIFI is available. If needed a Telstra phone line is available at HQ.
There is no TV reception however there is a TV with DVD capability. A selection of DVD’s is provided.
$150 per night for 2 people.
Minimum stay 1 night. A $50 cleaning fee applies.
On site there is a caravan with an annex fitted out as a bar, with a view over a dam. There is also a covered jetty which we call 'The Yacht Club', where you can relax and make yourselves at home.

Nic's Van
Nic's Van is a unique caravan with a huge deck overlooking a real Aussie bush gully.
The van, kitchen and bathroom are all roofed and protected from the weather. The van accommodates three and there is a fold out lounge/bed on the deck for extra guests.
The kitchen provides a full size fridge and a small gas cooktop/grill. There is a bar-b-q outside on the deck.
The bathroom is just like home, with a toilet, hand basin and shower, along with hot and cold water.
$125 per night for 2 people.

Location
We are located in the Capertee Valley, NSW, in the Greater Blue Mountains; just a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney.
Our property borders the Gardens of Stone National Park, a 15,000 hectare World Heritage listed wilderness area. A drive through the valley is well worthwhile as the local properties, cliffs and views are quite unique.
Getting around
The location of the Cabin and Studio provides a good base for day trips to explore the World Heritage Wilderness area, wineries at Mudgee, the glow worm tunnel at Newnes, the Zig Zag Railway, Capertee National Park, plus many more.
Our property is peaceful; the nearest corner store/pub is 14 km away, and the nearest town is 60 km away.
Don’t Miss
Go fishing, yabbying or swimming in the dam, or enjoy a barbeque on the deck. You can even try your hand at panning for gold in the local creeks.
The valley is known for its diverse birdlife, bush trails for walking, running and 4W driving. The cabin backs on to the 'Gardens of Stone' National Park. The 'local' pub does great lunches and dinners, including their famous pizzas.
